Still waiting for a good deal on the turbo BW-TC9. It has been almost four months since the last deal on ozb. :)

Why are these deals always for the Type A to Type C cables? Nearly all the phones sold in the past 18 months require a Type C to Type C charge cable.

    • Maybe cz Samsung uses type a to type C and they are he majority of type C devices out there

      • Then it's about time Samsung got with the program and made some modern chargers with Type C ports. Samsung was already late to the party with Type C, and they're still dragging their feet now.

        • +1

They examined going full on Type C but they said the old users still have plenty of type A chargers and it is true in that extent, but poor form none the less
USB C-to-C are much more expensive because of this, scale of economy is low for those. wish there was more PD charging coming on board - they are much faster than Qualcomm QC

    • None require this. Sure to make use of any quick charge they do, but will charge fine normally from an a to C cable.

      • Most Type-C phones uses Qualcom QC.. which usually means Type A to Type C cables. Few phones uses PD quick charge

Because the majority of people would still have USB-A chargers. And they are more likely to buy just a new cable rather than a new charger AND a new cable.

I've had a USB-C phone for over 2 years, but I've only just swapped over all my chargers to USB-C (ie. multi-port chargers with 1 USB-C port). But, if I'm going to take a cable with me, eg. to someone's house, you can be sure I'm taking a USB-A to USB-C cable because the likelihood they will have a USB-C charger is slim to none.

I'm all for USB-C, btw - the sooner we transition to USB-C, the better, in my books! Legacy cables (USB-A to USB-C) are just an unfortunate necessity, unfortunately.

Err this is for a Type A to Lightning….. Still a lot of Apple users have Type A. Wrong deal post maybe?

      • +2

Ummm yep. I missed that…my rant is less relevant to this product, and more a generic rant about discount codes on Blitzwolf products.

Got a google pixel XL 2, What type of cable is needed for fast charge

  • +9

Wow a bit of a price hike compared to the last deal

  • +8

OP I'm not quite sure why you're calling this a "special price" or "deal" - this cable has been this price (14% off) for months as far as I can tell.

Good quality cable but this is expensive.

Should I apply for a code to do another run on the WAZA lightning cable? It is really MFi certified.

    • +1

yes agreed.. This is too expensive compared to last time I purchased these. Magic strap isn't even that magical

  • Whats the discount code

  • +1

Got one last time … great quality! Anybody know if this is available in a shorter version (such as 20cm)?

  • The link shows 13.97 AUD ?!

  • Deal expired as of 4:45PM

    • $8.99 now. It will end in 5 days

      • Expiry removed, thanks.

      • shows as AU$12 for me

        • That is due to the fluctuations in currency. otherwise the US price remains the same.

      • showing as US $10.49 here

        • Nevermind, just saw the date. perhaps mark this as expired?

  • Great cables, but this looks like retail prices with a 4 week wait.
