Didn't see this one and just posted and used the $20 off code.

You’re in luck as they both give same $20 off.

  • Ordered. Thank you.

Autumn3Free code is only taking off $20 for me, same as the Autumn2Free code

    • I'm pretty sure they're both just meant to take $20 off. The 3rd free meal is the new 'Clean Savoury Mince' they're throwing in with every order.

      • Does that 3rd meal - savoury mince show in the list as i did 7 dishes but it didn't show up - hopefully i get it :0

EDIT: it doesn't show up initially but at the end it shows it as 'free'

    • Ditto.

    • updated :(

      • You might want to update the expiry date of the AUTUMN2FREE voucher it's 02/04/18.

        • thanks, i didnt realise that code was added to mine.
i extended the expiry date of the deal, but specified the expiry dates per coupon.

Not as good as the other recently expired coupon which gave $30 off and the free "Clean savoury mince" = effectively $4.96/meal.

IMO while the meals are a step above the usual supermarket frozen ware, they're also both very small in portion size and KJ count. Most meals are 1500-2500Kj/250-350g.

While this may be positive for some people (weight loss), it's just not enough if you're using 2 meals for example as a lunch and dinner. The average daily KJ requirement for a male for example is 10KJ+. You'd be lucky to get half of that from 2 Youfoodz meals.

In comparison, meals from my muscle chef and muscle meals direct are 450-500g and have 3000-5000KJ per serve and cost ~$8.50/meal with coupons.

Not saying one is better than the other, just depends on your needs. but I wish Youfoodz had an option for larger portion sizes.

There's no way I'd pay $10/meal if I effectively have to eat 2 meals to meet RDIs. The heavily discounted $5/meal is around about the most I'd pay for their current portion sizes.

If they spent less on their advertising (so much packaging and fancy brochures, random plastic bottles and junk) and focused on giving customers more actual food, they'd be a more attractive proposition.

The average recommended Ki intake is 8700. Some smarter countries have lowered this to 8000.

1500kj+ is actually better than the majority of supermarket frozen meals.

      • Depends how much exercise you do. But yeah most say around 8k. So works out close with snacks.

      • Mine says 10,000KJ
        https://www.eatforhealth.gov.au/node/add/calculator-energy

        30yo male, not excessively exercising.

        • Those guidelines seem to be 15yrs old, but yes you'd probably maintain weight at 10k kj. You'd likely gain weight if your lifestyle become more sedentary.

  • I think I'm addicted to Mohit's Butter Chicken:

    Ordered once..not a big fan..

  • This title is confusing.

From what I gather, this is essentially $20 off a $69 order plus ONE free meal yes? If so, just skip the convoluted "2 free meals" gobbledegook.

Or is it $20 off $69 order, plus THREE free meals?

    • +1

      better?

yes, $20 off $69 order plus one free meal.

        Yah :D

Anyone know of a delivery mob who do keto meals - ultra-low carb, medium protein, high fat.

FivePointFour say they do but they're hung up on restricting calories, so use leaner cuts (e.g. chicken breast instead of thigh). I'd be starving and lethargic on their 310 calorie meals and have to supplement too much with snacks.

Thank OP was just about to place an order anyway with 5% off so this is better. 7 meals gets you over the min threshold + 1 free - $20 = $49.65 or $6.21 per meal which is good value I reckon.

  • Applies to Meal Plans? Delivery is to my home (my order, not yours!)?

  • I think my local IGA sells these individually. Just an FYI, they are small to medium portions. The pictures look plentiful, but don't expect a full plate.

Also, I got a popup stating $20 first time orders and enter my email, technically someone can just keep creating accounts for the 1st time vouchers?

  • Sadly $20 delivery for WA so no deal for us. May as well just go the local store to buy it.

  • Autumn2free doesn't work for my cart damn it.. says it doesn't apply to my address

    • thats strange, autumn3free worked for me on an existing account (and im pretty sure a new one too).
the autumn2free one came from yippy, maybe it has other requirements.

  • Both codes are "invalid".

I have called them and asked them why these codes don’t work, was advised that they are targeted offers for customers that haven’t reordered in a while.

    What a pity!
