Looking at what's in my profile, you need to fill in their details and I'm sure there's a verification step, but I don't see any impediment to making the contact email and phone number yours. Naturally by doing this your folks will be trusting you with their ServiceNSW record and transactions.

Dammit!
Looks like it got OzBargain’d. :D
Suck it up mate. They are giving us money. Don't expect a walk in the park. :)
Thanks jncheong for posting this
They came to our local shopping ctr for 3 days to help ppl complete the process
What a waste of wages! The state government shouldn've just used the money to improve our roads.
They took a $10 administrative fee from our refund. I rather they reduce the fee and not hire these people.
Let's say 3 millon NSW drivers get their refund, they have a 30 million budget to hire. Quite a nice sum there.
Woohoo, submitted form in 3 minutes. Thanks, OP.
Woohoo, refund landed in my account 21/03.
$20… Oh well, better than a kick in the head.
They should just take it out of the rego renewal. most people will have the same vehicle.
Edit: almost $60. Best get onto it for the other car now.
Thanks OP, that's an easy $47. I can't see why it is not an automatic credit on your rego for next time you renew. Government bureaucracy at its finest!
That would mean everyone would got their refund
$16.51 … I was hoping for more :(
Thank you! I never knew about this until I stumbled onto this link on OZB's daily newsletter. I got a refund of $40.62 :)
Thanks! $30 back for me
Thanks OP!
Nice.
thanks got $55 back
Looks like not applicable to motorcycles :(
Awesome - I have been waiting for this to go live for everyone. I get $111 back! Too bad the system is falling over and cannot process my request at this time. Try again later…
$0 for one car and $104 for the other! I'm happy with that!
$77 for one car and $101 for the other car
Thanks!
The popularity of CTP refunds are placing additional load on our systems. To ensure we can offer customers reliable services across all our services during business hours, CTP refunds are currently available between 7pm and 7am Monday to Saturday and all day Sunday. You have until September 30 to claim your refund so there is no hurry.
Wow. Restricting the hours of a website. How hopeless can the NSW government be?
So they're restricting it to OUTSIDE of business hours? Is there no bandwidth left after you take away how hard the government is working?
Cheers
You can get a partial refund on your CTP if you had it after Dec 15, 2017 and registered in NSW…
I got $110 refund…woohoo

pass it on so the government doesn’t keep our money
Got my refund this evening after I submitted my request on Monday afternoon
I filled out the form and I think all the details are correct but there was this message:
Please check the following error:
These details don't match. Please check and try again. Need help? Contact us to get in touch.
doesn't make sense. I've filled out the contact serviceNSW page now.
Is this refund only for pensioners or single mums or something?
No. Your details just don’t match the system’s.
that's just stupid! how can it not match if that's what I registered it under? I didn't get an email or letter about a refund
I keyed in everything correct and i also received the same error message. I called them and they said their system is down and asked me to try to re enter in a few days time.So I tried to re enter again after 3 days, I received the same error message.
maybe they (ServicesNSW) don't like people getting CTP refunds. seeing how they rake in billions for the Govt already, and the amount of cars people own is rising. Lifes too easy for those people working there.
My folks don't have ServiceNSW accounts - and they don't use email. Anyone have any experience signing up and registering their car details under your own account? Or do I need to set up an email and account for them to access this?
