Actually blunt retail price is around $90. Its actually a good price for blunt - Crumpler design.
But since it's only cocktail design, the audience of this is limited.
Now if it's the black or blue one that would be a good deal
It is when RRP is $109? That's the point of the post, but to each his own.

Blunt Umbrellas are pretty much indestructible. Once you have one, you won't buy another umbrella.
I have had one for years.
What if you lose it?
What's the big deal about Crumpler anyway?
I see quite a few deals for backpacks etc.
Genuine question.
This is more for the brolly, not so much Crumpler :)
Quality of this will be more blunt brand rather than Crumpler
Crumpler bags last a long time and lifetime warranty is really good. Just bring to any Crumpler store and they will send it off for assessment and repair. No questions asked.
They don't fix anything abnormal usage but the usual straps and zippers or stichingg coming off is pretty much fixed, or replaced
I can't comment on the umbrella but Crumpler products in general are really good quality stuff. I have got a messenger bag and a (laptop) backpack, both more than 10 years old but still looks as new. They don't break easily. The material they use is top quality.
held off on this at higher price point. looking forward to this crazy design
It's not too bad, as you won't be seeing it when in use anyway haha … will be great for the summer sunny rain :)
I've got the Blunt XS Metro, very good quality and great umbrella. Quite small so fits in my backpack easily, but can only fit 1 person under
I've got one of these too (for about 2 years now) and it's indestructible, the springs and 'blunt' cover on the tips prevent the fabric detaching from the spokes. It's longer than most compact umbrellas, so won't fit in the side pocket of most backpacks, only the main section. When it's up it's pretty small coverage, but due to the design of the frame, you can hold it down much lower over your head than most brollies, but you should still expect your legs to get a bit wet like any other compact umbrella. But it handles strong gusty wind better than anything else.
Crumpler seems to be leading Ozbargain on a techwear streak recently.
Loving the in-depth analysis and review of umbrellas btw.

How is a $60 umbrella a deal?
