Definitely a price error as it is $30+ everywhere else and likely to be a bestseller. Its an extra $7.50 for delivery. Its worth it if you were gonna purchase books from Angus and Robertson.

Always interesting when people use the phrase 'legally obligated' - especially when in reference to price errors. I'm not wanting to offend you here but I'd note:
The legal obligations are to protect people from dodgy practices and to warrant them to get acceptable goods and services. It isn't so great to try to twist those protections to get a bargain.
Please note that doesn't mean I don't think you can't take advantage of a pricing error (that's a whole different kettle of moral judgement) - I am a OzBargain member after all. Just that I don't think you can try to twist a vendor's arm about it..

Here is my understanding:
Price listed on website - non binding invitation to treat
Placing an order - offer, still non binding
Acceptance of payment - acceptance of contract
HOWEVER no one has had the balls to really push and properly test this YET
except for the last part.
Acceptance of payment - provisional acceptance of contract, non binding, pending QA
Refund of payment - non acceptance of contract due to failure of QA (or other reason)
Acceptance of payment with confirmation of delivery - full acceptance of contract, binding
may be more accurate.

I think most are working it out. The Booko link doesn’t show the $2.95 deal. But a quick James Comey search on Booko brings up the special. Click the link. Which will go to a page stating free shipping when directed through booko to the Angus & Robertson website. Automatically directs to Angus & Robertson after ten seconds. Add book to cart. Shows the total with postage but when you go to pay. It will discount the postage off to bring the total to $2.95 delivered.
Okay yeah these steps worked. Just following the link from this post didn't work for me, even adding the book to cart and going to checkout kept it at full price.
Doesn’t help that it’s the wrong link in the description. Multiple entries in booko of the same book doesn’t help either.
Got this book. Will probably try and resell it at its normal price. Also got the Jordan Peterson book and Wolfenstein, so yes i'm a Nazi who enjoys killing Nazi's and also an evil capitalist.

These guys need to set some flags for an abundance of visits/ sales of any particular item. This has been up for a whole working day. Maybe it’s not a pricing error. Just a mass brainwashing disguised as a bargain.

Even though it's most likely they won't honor it, I tend to go for it anyway because it's possible they'll give you something as compensation, like a voucher.
Better to give people a $5-$10 or "buy one get one free" voucher than a $30-40 dollar book.. You may not get what you wanted, but it's better than getting nothing.
