Hmm. I thought the S9 series only came in 64GB and 256GB variants. I thought wrong it seems.

Shopping square is affiliated with zapal and I've had shit experience with them. Would not recommend

    • Are they?

Bought stuff from them that never arrived. Their CS is pretty unhelpful. For expensive shit your best beet is always buy from someone more reputable, so when things do go wrong you at least know you'll be dealing with someone willing to sit you down and troubleshoot with you. Not shoot you an email every two days asking you to deal with it on your own.

    • I got the $950 mavic pro flymore last year from SS, it all went ok.

  • Does Telstra VoWifi/VoLTE work on these imported models or do you need Telstra or Samsung Original Australian firmware?

    • Yes, you are correct. VoLTE will not work until you flash the XSA firmware.

      • I have flashed my S8+ with xsa and no volte option in my phone.. Is their something else you need to do?

        • I am not sure at this point. Your carrier supports it, yes? My S8+ was purchased in the UAE. After flashing with XSA firmware, I have VoLTE (on Vodafone) and can use Samsung Pay.
          Who's your carrier?

        • @albert0pia:

Belong carrier. Can't use Samsung pay.

  • whats the difference between this and the australian stock? do they both use exynos and have 2 sim card trays?

    • Australian models are single-SIM only. They share the same processor with the international variants.

  • I messaged them about the model number to know if it's the Snapdragon or Exynos model and they couldn't confirm anything except that it's random. (Exynos processor is said to be much faster)

  • International model should be Exynos processor! Only US and China are Snapdragon

  • How do SS go with packages over $1000? Will they be subject to GST/Import Duty?

    • Yes. You will have to pay GST. In the end it’s better to buy AU stock ,

  • ok it is international. so when it is broken, samsung australia is going to repair it or not? or should i ship it to where? singapore? hongkong? last time i bought an iphone and thanks great god it is local or i was (profanity), i had it replaced twice.

Good point. No repairs whatsoever from Samsung Australia. God help you if you try and get it repaired from SS.

Have had 3x S7 Edge's with various hardware issues. The last issue (failed camera) was repaired within an hour on site by Samsung as it was local stock. I highly recommend a local warranty on an expensive device like this.

Unless you want a Dual Sim one like the one in this post, in which case you have no choice but to source it overseas.

  • Can you flash AUS XSA on this? And does SPay works?

    • No you can only register your Australian issued bank cards with Australian Samsung hardware. Not sure about the XSA queation.
