  • excellent price!!

    • Really ? Got no idea how much they normally cost.
Is it good enough for use in smartphones (LG V20) ? Just want to increase the memory so that I can take more photos and videos without removing them to the PC.
I read in the Ozbargain community in the past something about the speed ???? and if it is genuine card ??? so got no idea if that matter for smartphone use.

      • This is fine for a phone. Has been cheaper from Chinese vendors (and I have not had any issues with the cards they have sent).

        • Phone is fine

Come on and drop the 256gb as well please PC Byte.

      • +1

Thanks, but that's just the normal sale price.
Comes to $127.20, so over a $20 premium to get 1 card rather than 2.

      • Just a note that this this is the older 95MB/s version the newer 256GB version says "PLUS" instead of "+" and reads at 100MB/s. The newer version was going for $127 back in Jan when it was discounted to $167 and you could apply another 20% off. Should have bought it then..

        • Oh… I just noticed the difference. I am buying this for my Nintendo Switch so the speed should be fine,. However I already sent a message to the seller to cancel my order :(

  • Local stock right?
These should be comparable to the evo select on amazon in speed?
Cheaper than evo select after currency conversion though!

    • The evo select and the evo plus are exactly the same cards with different cosmetics and packaging.

  • +2

Is it the Plus or + that is the newer and faster model?

    • Plus is newest model.

  • Class 10 is still a thing? Wouldn't every SD card these days be class 10?

    • If you can't reach 30MB/s you don't really have any other options of what to put on there.

  • Title says "UHS-I" picture has U3… Which is it?

    I am after U3 for my Camera…

    • +1

UHS-1 is the interface. U3 is the minimum speed.

So it should be fine for your needs.

  • 256gb for <$120 please!

  • Maybe Sold out ?

  • Can't add to cart, sold out ???

  • are these good for nintendo switches?

    • dont see why not

      • awesome cheers!

Yep, I have a 128GB EVO Select (rebranded version of this) in mine.

These cards are actually overkill for the Switch really, because the Switch doesn’t actually make use of the faster speeds (any U1 card would do). But it’s not much more expensive than slower cards, so may as well grab one of these. (And the faster speeds will help if you ever take the card out and need to transfer stuff to/from the card, or use it for something else!)

Edit: sorry, I have the 64GB version in mine (the 128gb is in my phone), which is actually slower than the 128GB version! So there you go, the 128gb will definitely be fine since it’s faster!

    • I've been holding out for a 256gb one at a good price. Not sure 128gb will be enough over its life span.

      • I’m in the same boat! I had a 64gb one spare, so i’ve put that in for now, and am waiting for the price of the 256GB to drop to a more reasonable $/GB. (~$115, for ~45c/GB is about right for me personally)

If I didn’t have the 64GB card i’d be tempted to grab the 128GB, but I can hold out for a while longer! (Hopefully not too long!) :)

        • are you gives purely digital? just wondering if i'd ever get to capacity if i bought a 128gb one

        • +1

          @zero23:

Nah, I’m actually the opposite: I buy physical by preference, and digital only if there is no sign of potential physical release.

128GB would probably be more than enough for me, but I’m happy to chuck in a 256GB, once they drop in price, to hopefully cover me for the life of the device without ever having to worry about deleting anything.

I’d say you’d probably be safe with 128GB if you generally buy physical. If you are digital only, then you might be better off waiting for 256GB.

  • Anyone know the write speed on this? Had an older "high speed" evo that had really quick reads but sucked when it came to writing to the card.

EDIT: nvm, claims 100 read 90 write.

  • Great. Just what I need. Got1. Thanks OP.

  • Missed it :(

Cheaper 128GB SD here, as the new PRINT 20% off code is still valid for the same store, in lieu of PREWINTER which only expired yesterday.

I just saw this post so updated the previous deal for the new code.

    • damn just got the samsung evo. could have saved $3!!

      • +1

Coming from HK though. This might be local stock.

    • That is a slower card.

  • Card arrived today. SUPERB deal thanks OP

  • Had a play with this today, I'm pretty impressed with sustained 82MB/s read and 69MB/s write speeds, particularly for a 128GB unit at this price.
