      I'm pretty sure I had this when the iPad Air first came out. The lack of magnets was appalling. That's why it's $5 I reckon.

  Fun Fact: you can use this case on your ipad 2017. The camera hole is a little off centre, but not enough to obstruct the lens. Other than that, the case fits perfectly. You'd be paying at least 8x the price for the Official STM ipad 2017 case.

    Huh. I just realised the case for my old ipad air didn't exactly fit the 2017 ipad thanks to this comment!

    Nope air1 is a little thicker, so air2 will be too slim for this

  I had one of these, the glue holding the fabric down on the strap latch is very weak and comes off, then sliding the latch through the slip tears it more and more each time. Worth $5 but not an STM quality product.
