  • Isn't this expensive compared to the Vodafone Infinite $45 plan which gives you unlimited calls and SMS (even international)?

    • Unlimited calls nationally and unlimited sms nationally and internationally.
      No tethering though.

        So, Vodafone is $15 cheaper.

As for thsoe talking about network issues, doesn't that mainly affect data?

Voice and SMS is the main thing for me.

But Vodafone doesn't work… You'd be paying $45 for failed calls and no data connectivity!

      • HAHAHA. This.

the ozbargain effect - when something is too cheap - everybody tries to get it and a lot of people go home crying…

Their network is jammed up the wazoo at the moment.

        • +4

… and they admitted to it .

  • What are the call rates (to non-Optus mobiles and other landlines)?

  • Too expensive for a crappy network!

    • +4

      well it's better than voda/3

    • +3

True, anything other than Telstra is rubbish… sad but true. Optus' network was exposed to be crippled earlier in the year and all of a sudden they go super cheap?? You all get what you pay for. I would take Voda/3 over Optus any day, but $10 or so a month extra for Telstra is a no brainer.

  • +3

    Even Telstra's $49 plan is better…

    • +1

At least they are the only functioning one.

so many people with negative remarks. why dont u all who whinge about networks go to amaysim and enjoy worry free shit service!

  • Can we get a direct link to this deal, cannot find it on the website

Voda has the best value but terrible coverage. If you don't mind disconnecting about once every 15-30mins i guess its alright (2 of my mates just signed up to vodaphone from optus and they have poor reception and frequent disconnects in the ACT)

Telstra plans are actually quite good now (finally giving 2gbs of data with their $79 cap) but the value is still a tad lacking… no unlimited SMS/phone calls is a bummer!

Optus has decent reception, unlimited social networking data usage, 3gb of mobile data, unlimited SMS/MMS to anyone, unlimited calls optus-optus and $900 worth of calls on the $79 cap.

But without a doubt vodaphone has THE best value with their plans and i would highly reccommend them as although the reception is poor; it isn't un-usable by ANY means

I think Optus has the best value/performance ratio. But if you NEED relieability then i'd avoid vodaphone like a plague and get telstra if you're rural and optus otherwise

    Just my 2c
