    If you were like me and was trying to wait for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel to get a GOTY packaged discount, unfortunately the developers 2K Australia have shut down.

    Best you can do to fully experience this game would be to buy it + purchase the season pass.

    • The prequel is fun, but not an essential Borderlands experience. I find it a little offensive to Australians to be honest, those US voiceovers are atrocious.

      • +3

        The characters with Australian accents in the Pre-Sequel were voiced by Australian actors - cast list is here. The re-appearing characters from are voiced by the the original American (or Canadian) actors.

        The Pre-Sequel is best enjoyed after playing Borderlands 2.

  • usual price $US80? It is around $12.49 at Cdkeys without any promo.

    • Usual Steam price

      • +1

        The usual idiots are out negging again but SuperNinja is correct, Steam's normal and of course outrageous price is $80.

          Usual price is $40 US on steam too… Love the Australian tax :/

    Great game. Decent price.

  • Noob steam question, I own about 70% of these DLC's. If I buy the GOTY edition, the purchases essentially override without giving compensation don't they?

    • yes

    • Unless they give you each key separately.

      • -1

        No, they don't give each key separately. If you already have some of the content, it will install the things you don't have with a single key.

        • I know, but some give you keys seperately

  • If you own it but haven't played it co-op, now is probably a good time. Few more people would have bought it due to this sale, so there is a limited timeframe on getting a good co-op experience.

      What you need is a solid player 2.

    If you call yourself a gamer and dont own BL2, reconsider your title.

    • I need to play BL2 now >.<

    • -2

      But the first one is better…

      Also what other games do you consider required in order to hold the title.

      • I believe you should play Ocarina of a time at least once, own Minecraft and have at least one from each series of Fallout, Elder Scrolls, Witcher, Mass Effect, Tombraider, Civilization & Assassins Creed for a start in the right direction. And Borderlands of course!

        • No Pac-Man, Galaga or Frogger? Too old?

          What about Elite, Bubble Bobble or Legend of Zelda? Still too old?

          Okay then Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, WWF Superstars or Prince of Persia? 1989 can't be too old its only… 29 years ago.

          @FabMan:

          Quick… give this man 10 CCs of Ready Player One. Stat!

        • +1

          @surethang: Thanking you!

        • @FabMan: all fabulous games but best enjoyed during thier era, I ain’t too young to remember getting shell-shocked. (Ps: Ocarina of Time is Legend of Zelda >.<)

          @stormii:

          But how can you consider yourself a gamer with only the recent games? You can't consider yourself a movie buff without some Casablanca, well ya can, but you would be wrong.

          Na The Legend of Zelda with no other titles, the original The Legend of Zelda.

          I don't actually expect you have to played these games, I just wanted to show you I am old and gave been gaming for a while.

        • @FabMan: Gaming has come a long way, and I for one applaud the modern graphics, I see no need to subject myself to the pixelated paradise I lived through anymore, my eyes and ears are pleased with this.

  • Can you pay with steam wallet? Got some money sitting there that isn't being used.

    • No.

    Heads up that this does not include all the DLC available. For that you'd require the Complete Edition.

    Good price regardless.

    • The four DLCs provide hours of new content. Recently finished Tina's and Scarlett's DLC, now onto Torque. Really a lot of fun, especially if you play CO-OP. I read the other DLCs are very short and aren't as good as the four you get here, that's why I bought GOTY :D

  • Great game. Shame about Gearbox/2k being so dodgy nowadays.

  • Really must get around to finishing this game one day. I've tried twice and enjoyed it both times but I usually find myself taking a break from it which ends up in me forgetting to ever get back to it.
