    • is the quality still the same with the new one?

      • Yeh pretty much, can't find any flaws so far. Missing a few packaging but that's about it.

    • What packaging was missing that told you it was refurbished?

    • I can't believe Amazon would try this. I would not have accepted a 15% refund if this happened to me. :/

  • is there much difference between the qc35ii and earlier models? looking at buying a cheaper/older version… cheers

just the Google Assistant button and the airplane adapter as far as i know. not sure about other technical differences

      • ok cheers for that FD91

I cant find the earlier model any cheaper… so will go with the listed one. much appreciated :)

        • Be sure to order an airplane adapter from ebay as it isn't included.

          @darktiger:

The adapter is $9 shipped from Bose.

  • Has anyone noticed any sound quality differences after upgrading the firmware?

Received my headphones Tuesday, thought id give a 2 day review.

Received the headphones Tuesday around 2pm. Wore them for 2 hours or so on full NC and music, feels odd not hearing the outside world (Coming from Beats Solo2 and Earpods). Someone was standing behind my desk talking to me and had to tap me on the shoulder. Bose might need to ship out rear view mirrors for desk jockeys.

Wednesday was working from home and took a few long phone calls. Great call quality but feels weird at first as you can't hear your voice normally, rather it passes through the noise cancelling and goes to the speakers. Between the calls I was just toggling through NC with no music and had them on for 2-3 hours, forgot I even had them on. When I took them off my ears were warm but not sweaty like the Solo2.

Today just listening to some tunes at work with full NC. Updated the firmware can't notice any difference

    • Verdict?

      • I haven't used quality headphones but the noise cancelling is unreal. Listening to podcasts and music with no background noise is something you really need to experience.

Can't wait to try it on flights, I can't usually get to sleep on planes so maybe these will help.

Would give it a solid 8/10.

  • Is there anything better I can buy to use on my Xbox One for around this price?

    • Better? In what way?

      • Miles better in surround audio/audio quality

        • Get a gaming set of headphones… YouTube + Google are your friend.

  • Are these Australian stock or grey import?
Also, some Amazon sellers on that same au site has the price of $330 for "new" with no description and little known about the seller nor stock origin.
