  • My story is worse, ask for reason for cancel which I reply them I order the wrong item. Next email say can’t cancel as the item has been ship out. All happen with an hour

      contact amazon live chat, i got this response “Already investigation on this seller is being conducted, let me initiate the request to get you refund for this item”

      • What did you say to Amazon to get the refund? Because technically the good is still on the way and there is no scam yet.

      • I did the same. All that Amazon did was to send a cancellation request message to seller.

        Seller did not reply about the cancellation request but instead replied with a message saying, “item will be delivered in 7-10 days”.

        Post that, I again contacted Amazon and they told that they will again send the request and I need to wait for 2 business days for the reply and then contact Amazon back.

        Meanwhile, there is no new update on tracking website for the parcel. But it does say that it is heading towards Romania :) !

    Seller just messaged me, insisting that the item on its way to my door, as per their shipping department. Like seriously, tracking number says delivered to different states. Is the seller trying to act dumb or just…dumb ?

    • Honestly At this point I think we should start posting only if anyone has actually received item with the tracking numbers provided. Or received refund

    • actually they are smart. smarter than amazon. they can list fake items into one of the biggest market place in the world.
      and we (including me) are the ones that dumb thinking to get on expensive items by paying fraction.

        • Latest and should be the last chapter of this saga, refund is being processed. So case closed.

  • Just an update, received a msg from amazon said case close becoz seller have refunded, but still can't c the amount back to my card yet. Its should show up something as pending right?

    • If it doesn't show up, just get it chargeback from your cc company.

    I put in a claim and got refunded. Jeez, Amazon gives no compensation or anything for this. They didn’t even do it automatically even though it’s obvious and heaps of people have claimed already.

      probably will do live chat and try to get compensations. amazon kept the money for a week (in my case).

      • yeah, it was so fast I thought it must have been auto-approved?

        I had previously requested a cancellation, but they had sent the item and only replied with that copy/paste message, so not sure if that made things quicker?

  • So my headphones were delivered today! To SA… I live in VIC I spent an hour on the phone with Amazon, they instantly gave me a refund and I pushed so they gave me 30 dollars. After that they wouldn't budge and in the end they hung up on me!

      • People were saying they were hoping to get. I didn't hear of anyone who actually got. I was able to track my package through auspost using the number I got from Amazon.

  • I request a claim last night and got it approved this morning

  • After waiting 3 days for my claim to go through and not hearing back, I put in another claim and it was auto approved 15 seconds after I hit the file claim button.

    In the claim I requested that they give me a voucher for the time/money wasted, but I'm not holding my breath that I'll receive one.

  • Got the money refunded to my card and it shows the date of refund as 16th.

  • Amazon is not really proactive with this … shouldn't they contact all buyers which purchased something. At least to warn them that they might not get an item and need to claim.
    Their selection process for new sellers is definitely lacking.

    • I was surprise that they are not proactive about it too. But Amazon is pretty easy to deal with in this situation. Contact via online chat, refund straight away within 5 mins.
