Great price for Crash Bandicoot NSane Trilogy for PS4. Weird that it isn't online as well. Got JB to price match as I had a couple of expiring gift cards.

just play the PS1 versions on ePSXe or PCSX-R, it's nearly the same.
Some would argue that it's a better version purely because the character boxes are square instead of oval-shaped, meaning you're less likely to screw up jumps!
That's very dumbed down. I remember the difficulty of the jumps being half the point of the game.
Rumour is that it is an exclusive for one year and will go on other systems soon. Pretty much leaked that it will be on PC and Switch. Guessing Xbox as well

It's the latest crash rls, but technically not latest games, as they are all the old games on single disc, re - mastered
Technically it is the latest one and also the oldest one.
Its a remake of the first 3 PS1 games put together in a package. Its really well done and worth buying if you've been considering it.
I wonder if EB Games would price match them self at another store.
Probably not considering they do anything to avoid lowering their prices.

I think he means EB are selling off the copies returned under the satisfaction guarantee. You know, those "new" copies that EB sell you unsealed where you receive inserts that have dog ears and discs with fingerprints and/or scratches?
Third game is well done but putting the crash 3 physics into the first 2 games has made them play not as nicely and giving crash a cylindrical hitbox has made already tricky platforming in some levels into an utter nightmare as you slide off for no reason.
I've been waiting for them to patch the physics since it came out but I guess any sort of developer support for this game was hoping for too much.
Another example of a cash grab remaster rushed out the door to make a quick buck without any sense of ongoing support.
Art team did a great job reimagining the games though.

They think that giving you a mask that protects you from an enemy hit is supposedly a fix for awful platforming in some sections of the first game.
games being brought out without ongoing support is becoming more common, worse on steam with so many prerelease games people pay for and not sure when stuff gets fixed ….
If you're buying early access you're accepting risks. If you're buying a game in a store and it doesn't work, you take it back.
