How to Make My Dollar Go Furthur at JB Hi-Fi?

So there is this laptop I like at JB HiFi for just under $700.

Rather than just rocking up at the store and paying off with credit card, I want to maximise my dollar.

How are some of the ways I can reduce the $700 cost to me ?

The Ultimate teens gift card does not appear to be on special (extra Flybuys/EDR points) atm.

Any other ways ?

Edit I forgot to mention that JB HiFi have a 30% off selected computers/laptops sale atm.

    Buy discounted gift cards either from cash rewards-Woolies or any other method like rewards gateway. McDonald employee or Optus employee AGL rewards

    JB also have regular "x% off" sales on laptops (unless of course that is already the case).

      Yes, that is the case.
      They have 30% off sale on computers.
      That got me thinking … how can I make it 40% off, 50% off … :)

    Don't buy at JB?

    Failing that, if you can wait until the end of the month, go in and talk to a sales rep and see what the best price is they can do or add laptop case + SD card or whatever else you are needing. If you don't like their offer, ask for the manager. If you don't like their offer, try another store.
    Of course buy with discounted gift cards.

    Just FYI they can sometimes do better prices when it's not on sale for some weird reason. Most of the time it's better to wait for a sale though

    Buy discounted e-gift cards, then ask a friend that works at woolies to turn them into JB gift cards. That’s effectively 9.75% off - you can also use Amex in your e-gift card transactions and that saves you paying the JB Amex surcharge.

        Buy physical gift cards. If you dunno anyone with a WOW staff discount card, you get 5% from the e-gift cards.
