Is there a way to remove the length adjuster at the back without a hammer and tools?
It's not attached by default, it's basically a figure 8 with the top and bottom cut off so you can slide the cables in and out. I use mine to balance the left side with the right due to the control bit dragging the cable over that side otherwise.

The loops didn't really do anything to help the earbuds stay in place for me. they hover over my ears. the earbuds themselves stay in fine though, and noise from moving about is mitigated with the included clothes clip.

I also bought them with the last Amazon deal - got delivered quickly and they are a great fit. Sound volume is a little low for me, but otherwise, they are much more comfortable than the Meizu EP51 earbuds which are a horrible fit for me.

Check your EQ settings. Mine gets pretty loud when paired with my Samsung, even louder than my more expensive cans.
is this need to be pushed deep into ear canal or can just sit and secured by the those loops/hooks?
My wife says you need to push it in real deep or it doesn't work as intended.
