[ACT] Belkin ProHD 1000 High Speed HDMI Cable 2m for $9 @ Domayne (Fyshwick)

110

Saw this at Domayne (Fyshwick, ACT). Originally priced at $34 (laugh) now at $9. When I left, there were still some. I don't know if this is nationwide or not.

I've searched eBay and found similar product priced at $22. Belkin UK website has this pegged at £34.99.

Belkin 2m High Speed HDMI Cable for $16 at Harvey Norman.

Hope this helps someone.

I got a 3M Monster one at Harvey Norman for $10.
MicroHDMI actually, which was perfect for me here

Btw: a (similar) product in the OP is selling for $16 "on sale" at Harvey Norman. So it's a good price.

    Good price mate

Good old Fyshwick; porn, fireworks and cheap HDMI cables.

MSY have flat plastic 2M HDMI 1.4 for 5 bucks. Braided for 8 bucks.

    Normal price.

    • Normal price if it was a generic cheap cable for example that one from MSY. But this is a major brand name. Build quality will not be the same.

I've been using $5 HDMI cables from Ebay for about 10 years on all of my many devices. I've had to replace one once because it stopped working.

Having an expensive cable doesn't mean much for digital tech. It used to be a big deal for analog though.

      • I hate to say it, but AFAIK Belkin often isn't any better. Sometimes it is. But if you bought this one and cut it up I doubt it's worth the premium. By the look of the product in the link it's a rebranded generic. It's not even trying to fake the appearance of quality.

  • What distinguishes a “high speed” HDMI cable? Is there actually any difference in the bitrate?
