Finish Powerball Quantum $10 for 30 Tabs at Coles Greenslopes QLD - $0.33 each

70

These are hiding in the ailse directly behind where the dishwasher tablets usually are - they are marked "Reduced to Clear" so it may only be at Coles Greenslopes.

The 40 pack is on special this week at Coles for $20 (reduced from $26.99) which equates to $0.50 a tab.

It is even cheaper than the Finish Maxi Tabs that are on special this week also - $20 for 55 tabs (i.e. $0.36 per tab).

  • if you don't need the quantum (who knows what the difference is).. the reject Shop has 90 powerball standard tablets for $20

  • i looked at the finish web site, they've got 5 different tablet types and i have no idea what the differences are between them. is the quantum the best?

    • Honestly I've never used them before. They are supposed to be the best, but the only obvious difference is that you don't need to unwrap them before you put them in the dishwasher. Can't really go wrong in this case though because they are cheaper than the supposedly not-as-good ones.

I used to use Morning Fresh till a friend mentioned the Finish ones were better. I bought a pack the next time round and … yes, they actually do seem to clean better! Egg remnants on fork tines were the most obvious. Morning Fresh would often leave some behind, whereas I haven't had to re-wash any cutlery since I switched.

      • Yeah I bought the Morning Fresh ones when they were on special - they did not clean very well at all.

    • There was a thread on them at Whirlpool, quite a lot of people actually liked the Aldi ones.. we have the Aldi cheapo cheaps for normal days, and a few boxes of Quantumn (from various specials) for extra grime days..

      • if only there was an aldi nearby! I bought some standard Finish ones… the quantum are for extra-dirty days. :)

        • I love an extra dirty day!

      • that's an interesting idea, cheap ones for light loads and the heavy duty ones for heavy loads. sort of like laundry powder.

Powerball Quantum - you could spend the rest of your life! Or perhaps not!

  • I bought some today from Welland Plaza, Adelaide

  • I got this exact same pack on special at woolworths in woden yesterday for $9.99, maybe they're trying to match the price.
