What to Do with a Faulty QC35, I Have Just Received from Officeworks?

Hello.
Just picked up Bose QC35 headphones from Officeworks that I bought at $350 deal. and just opened the box and tried it on.

It was alright when I've put it on and connected with my phone. Every feature works fine.

One problem I found, when I took the headphone off from my head and put it down on the table.

I heard some kind of rolling sound from the left side.

I think there is some kind of metal piece that has been put in or some broken part fallen apart in side the unit.

I want to get it removed by getting it serviced or replace it totally.

Should I take this to Officeworks? or should I send it to BOSE?

What should I do?

    officeworks. much easier process. they also have one of the best return policy. you'd likely walk out with a new one in 13 seconds.

        They have a great return policy however they can only replace it for you if they have stock on this clearence item (highly doubt). If not they will take it back and return your money - so if you want to keep the item, then I would ring Bose for an alternative solution. Let us know how you go :)

          I think this will be the case. Start with Office Works, but you will probably end up with Bose.

    Don't worry about going in store the following day and requesting a replacement due to it being faulty

    Chuck the item in the bin and take your losses

    Write more questions on OzBargain to clutter the forms

    Merged from Faulty QC35 Whether to Refund or Keep It and Get Trs?

    Hello ozbargainers.

    So continuation from my last post

    I found out theres a problem with left side of QC35. Possibly loose screw.

    I went to Officeworks today and they told me that they cannot replace it (no stock anywhere) and can only do refund or repair(which would take 3 weeks)

    I am travelling on this Thursday and this was the reason why i bought QC35. 12hrs of long flight and TRS.

    What do you Ozbargainers think?
    Should I get it refunded or just keep it.

    There is no problem listening to music.

      Try a BOSE store. Their customer service is usually excellent. Maybe try calling them

      If you see this in the next 10 minutes you'll catch them before they go home.

      Perhaps they can match OW price and you can refund from OW?

        no probelm listening to music, but when i walk, something(screw?) is occasionally moves inside and make noises

      TRS, and get it repaired when you get back home
