EA Access - 1 Year Membership [Xbox One - Download Code] $31.84 (£17.99) from Amazon UK

70

Amazon UK have a price reduction on the EA Access 12 month download code from their normal price of £20.00 down to £17.99.

You must add a UK address before purchase (choose a random hotel address in London) as XBOX download codes are only available if you have a UK address. VAT is thus not removed. I have purchased two years in a row and have had no issues.

EA's price is A$40.00 or CDkeys currently have for A$35.79, though their all-time low is $28.

  • As much as I want to subscribe, I just can't get excited by EA Access. If games didn't take over 1 year to be added, I might be interested, particularly if it was 6 months after release.

I just can't get excited by EA Access

Sometimes when I see the word access I get a raging boner.

  • So these types of codes work globally? I thought there was an issue with some of these types of codes working in AU (Like changing your address or something)

That's for purchasing the code, not redeeming the code itself.

  • EA Access is great, tremendous value really. But I found in my year with it, I burned through 3 or 4 Battlefield games, played a few of the littler games, played a fair bit of Battlefront even though I had it on PS4 and immensely prefer the originals, and so on. Basically, it was really great value and I was new to Xbox so I got it, but in the end I didn't play that much on it.

It's really really good if you got no games or anything yet, but as someone with over a hundred Xbox games now, and a Switch and PS4 backlog that's never gonna be conquered, and a year of Game Pass for free, I won't be resubbing for a while.

Just a heads-up for anyone who runs into issues redeeming an EA Access prepaid code via the Microsoft website - if it doesn't work, try redeeeming it through the Windows 10 Xbox App (or possibly the Xbox One itself). For some reason, the Microsoft website doesn't like accepting prepaid codes that aren't specifically Xbox Live or Xbox games themselves.
