    No, hardly use four joycons together (only when friends/families come over) and 99% chance the batteries can lasts the duration of visit. Also not that many games support 4 players.

      Thanks. Yeah, thinking it would be very rare to have 4 players but I do play two players with the kids a lot.

      The one joycon generally works well but I found it a bit cramped playing FIFA. Maybe I'll buy a pro controller instead of these

  So if you are buying these to just use for multiplayer and not to go on a switch … Would not you just buy left sides ones for the better layout?
