  • $US or $AUD ???

    • The dollar is at .996 (as of 3PM 14/12), so either way. It's USD.

  • Good deal. Where do we add coupon codes in godaddy, though?

    • It's in the Review your Order page (after all the steps) in the Order Summary box to the right there is a big link/button that says Enter Promo or Source Code.

  • just tried on a new domain and on a transfer but didn't work?

    working for anyone ?

edit: just tried to buy a new .com and it worked wont let me reg a new .org gives full price so its only for selected domains.

  • I wanna register for a .com domain, but bit weary about entering personal details that's publicly available (in whois searches). Is there anything I can do? Can I give fake details?

    • Yes you can, technically you shouldn't best to read the previous GoDaddy deals,

      http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/35269

      • Thanks Neil, in that post, you said to do this:
        1. Register with a valid address
        2. After the order is processed, change whois to a fake address

Can we actually change what appears in whois after we register?

        • you can change what appears in whois after registration, however the previous information is already publicly available.

        • I registered a domain in the previous GoDaddy deal with a fake address ( real address but not mine). It pulls the whois info from your initial billing details but there is no checking if the address is valid. The important thing is to make sure that your email address is legitimate as if there is any dispute it always going to go through to your email first.

  • I see, thanks Neil, hope I'm not too late to get a couple of domains…

EDIT: Not too late as it turns out, because of the US time difference. Got my first domain name! Sweeet! :)
Although I have only signed up for 1yr (it's $12 a year for 2nd+ years), gotta find another cheap domain before then…
