If you're a mountain biker you've probably seen that reality has caught up and most of the big brands have been heavily discounting, especially last year models. Specialized and Giant and Santa Cruz are all offering good discounts at the moment.
Bikes Online have sharp pricing at the best of times. I think the Alpine Trail XR at $5000 was good value. So to buy the exact same bike for $2899 (size Large, ex demo) with a warranty is outstanding value.
I've linked to their ex-demo page, but even the regular prices are all heavily discounted at the moment as well.
If you're in the market, I think they're definitely worth a look.

Maybe check Pushy's? They have a big sale at the moment. Also, Specialized are doing lots of sales, check their website, or even ask your local bike store?
To be honest, there's not much fat in the low end of the market, so they probably can't discount too much, but it's worth asking.

Looking for a 24 inch mountain bike for my soon to be 8 year old. Seems as though brands like Specialized are pricing their hardtails ridiculously expensive ($1,600).
They have a rigid version for $900 but why on earth you'd want a mountain bike with no front suspension is beyond me? Trek have done the same.

Found this little DAB/FM radio at Target for just $29. Has 3.5mm audio out and can be powered with AA batteries or supplied micro USB power supply. Couple of units were remaining at Target - Chadstone when I got mine.
I don’t really understand why DAB (and FM and AM) are still a thing?
I don't think I have ever used DAB or DAB+. Was once tempted to buy a shower radio that could do them but I don't think I even have digital stations in my area.

4060 pairs pretty well with a 1080p high refresh rate imo. I have a 3060 with a 1080p 165hz screen and it's pretty great.
I'm trying but struggling to find the downside for this one, granted I haven't watched any reviews or anything. The MUX switch is great, usually that's where laptops at this price point go to shit. 12th gen and DDR5 is also nice.
So what's the caveat? Or is it just that good?
The downside is everyone is poor now and 3060 laptops were 1k and this is 1.7k.
