Quite a few very old pieces of stock at this shop if you want to do some essential homeware shopping. Apparently they've been at this location for 20 years.

It's an interesting shop, I must say. I bought a cool looking car-shaped VHS Rewinder for $4 with a 1987 date code on it. Again, the same deal with these controllers - new old stock.
I'm in the process of digitising a whole bunch of ancient VHS tapes for the ads and putting them on Youtube, so it might actually come in handy. I probably could have bought the controllers and flogged them on eBay, but I'd rather let people who are actually interested in them buy them .
Personally, I'm a bit disappointed that I'd never visited the shop before a few days ago. I love finding new old stock items in shops like this. Autopro in Maroubra and Dimmeys in Goulburn are pretty good for that kind of thing (they had an original Club lock with a 7 digit phone number for service on it).
There's no way they'll be clearing out their stock in the next 2 weeks, though. Maybe if they drop everything to 70% off they might be able to.

I've got Joseph Joseph chopping boards and measuring cups. I really like the aesthetics and the way they've been designed to save space (important when you've only got a small kitchen).
Guess I'll find out if they're any better than the $5 utensils I've gone through and chucked out so far.
You know what saves even more space? Storing utensils in a drawer/cupboard and not on the countertop ;)
Just received mine, simple things like stopping the actual spoon surface from touching the table makes a huge difference to my messy cooking.
These ones you can put down on the counter without the food end touching the counter too. The handles must be pretty heavy.

Picked up a seemingly very similar set for $10 at woolies from an earlier deal, quite a premium here just for extra tongs. They are great however, love how they 'elevate' when laying flat
I just sit them on a plate or chopping board. No point in my mind having them elevated if they'll just drip on the kitchen bench anyway.

Have you looked into outputting the audio from your turntable into a BT audio transmitter? I would imagine that would work.
Will probably set you back between $10-100 depending which transmitter you go with and from where eg something from AliExpress vs something branded from a bricks and mortar store

This is for people who are willing to buy an open-box version of this monitor. It's being sold by Shopping Express which is a reputable company, and is also covered by 3-year manufacturer warranty so shouldn't be too risky.
This is the cheapest I've seen this monitor ($799 otherwise on SE; $760 elsewhere), which is one of the best monitors for 1440p 144hz gaming out there.
