Oh but you see those cheapo eBay ones aren't made out of super happy magical surgical grade silcone rubber thingyabobs!

(No offence intended. If you happen to use these bands and actually do derive some positive benefit out of them then all the more power to you.)

      • Fools and money are easily parted.

  • they're not even worth that …

  • great find, i was just going to post it up! :)

Please don't advertise stuff that doesn't work. There are absolutely no independent scientific studies on this gimmicky and scammy item. They have no proof or back ups that it works. Need more double blind tests. In fact, my friend stupidly bought one for $60 and tried to justify that it was worth the money. I put it on and felt nothing. I did the tests he fell for when he bought it - nothing. A load of rubbish. Anyone who buys this thinking it works is making a big mistake.

      There's broscience.

Does seem a gimmick. I'd prefer to buy a yellow plastic/silicone wristband on Daffodil Day from the Cancer Foundation. Least the money will go to good use.

  • REMOVE this bullfuk deal!

Brendan Fevola wears one. 'Nuff said

    • So does Willy Mason!

      • Have Willie Mason and Brendan Fevola ever been in seen in the same room at the same time?

LOL! I know this post will bring alots of -ves… so bring it on :)

  • I guess if it wasn't for the $6 postage this could be good value… zero effect at zero dollars… simultaneously infinite and zero value?

    • Stop trying to make black holes!

  • What makes this awesome is that they have the video from Today Tonight debunking it on the OzStock page selling it. Haha.

    • If even Today Tonight debunks it… What is lower than lowest common denominator?

I think it's a good price for an automatic douche detector….

    • no doubt lol

  • I had my haircut by someone wearing one of these… I suppose it was fairly symmetrical.

    It's snakeoil though, seriously.

  • loooool im not gonna vote at cause wth

  • Regardless of the merits (or lack) of the product, the dumb thing is that it's being listed as "free" with $5.95 shipping. Does it seriously cost that much to post something which probably weights less than 100g? You could almost get away with sticking it into a 60c envelope if the thing was packed flat enough.

    • Ozstock have been doing it for yonks. They use the shipping fee to subsidise the 'free' product. Proof: You can never pickup freebies, shipping only.

  • guys this is a rip off of the real deal product (which is actually cheaper still!): http://skepticbros.com/store/

If you want a real placebo product buy one from the guys working hard to supply a REAL placebo product

    • Don't be fooled by a fake!

Be fooled by the real thing!

  • It has received 2010 CHOICE Shonky Awards

$5.98 for a tiny piece of rubber is the way to expensive.

  • I have a seemingly intelligent friend who wears one of these. Every time I see him I want to tell him what a douchebag he is.

You should probably wear this with your Ed Hardy shirt whilst driving in your WRX with your Unit sticker on the back window.

    • aw ma gawd bro, will it improve the balance on my rexxy while drifting? In that case I better order another one for my car. fully sick!

      lol..

  • They are selling it again…
