It looks like the Breville Dual Boiler coffee machine is being discontinued. I was hoping to pick one up on a sale (also the smart grinder which is still available) but it seems that wont be happening anytime soon.
What would you recommend instead?

ROCKET ROCKET ROCKET!!!!!
Breville is for consumers and isn't that great. Rocket is for prosumers. ;)

Of course the beans matter, but the rocket unleashes the flavour out of the beans. The flavour just punches through when you take a sip and the crema isn't watery. Sweet as always
A bit expensive!!
To be honest, I don't think many consumers understand the effort that goes in to maintaining a decent machine like a rocket. My dad has one and any time I go round, it makes me sick to see the state that it's in.
Or for w****rs!
silence, peasant. The rocket man is talking
Lol. I don’t own either and am too looking for an espresso machine. The Rocket looks awesome and it’s made to last. So that’s something to consider.
Ozbargainers get the dual boiler, not the rocket. We all want the rocket though.
Lelit Victoria is $1500 and has PID, preinfusion and although not a dual boiler transitions to steam really quickly due to auto fill boiler.
Why not buy the 920 at $794?

Grinder's come up cheaply all the time.
But if not that, either the replacement or the model up :-) Or… the model down BES-870 ($679) lacks the dual boiler but gets great results, just takes longer to make a cup if you are frothing milk.
It has the grinder built in though, so you save space, especially when you consider the extra space needed for a grinder, as it is built in to the 870 and is both very good and very reliable.
