Westpac Altitude Platinum Card with Bonus 60,000 Qantas FF Points - $150 Annual Fee

100

Westpac Altitude Platinum Card with Bonus 60,000 Qantas FF points - $150 annual fee. $3000 spend criteria in 90 days.

Decent way to pick up some points. Not as good as some of the other points floating around but still not bad. This offer is better than their current Altitude Black card offer which also offers 60,000 QFF points but comes with a higher annual fee.

    • Makes no dif. They do this anyways, just not Officially.

  • Does anyone know if I rotate between the 3 ANZ QFF credit cards on offer, can I still qualify for the bonus points?
For example if I apply for the Frequent Flyer Black get the bonus ponts then close the account and then apply for the Platinum, do I have to wait 12 months before I am eligible for the bonus points via the Platinum? If I do have to wait 12 months, I'd rather apply for the Black again.

The 3 cards on offer at the moment:
ANZ Frequent Flyer (25k QFF points)
ANZ Frequent Flyer Platinum (65k QFF points)
ANZ Frequent Flyer Black (75k QFF points)

That wouldn't work. You'll only get the bonus from the first one you apply for. 12 months applies for all their CCs.

    • do I have to wait 12 months before I am eligible for the bonus points

      Yes.

    • once you get the bonus quickly close the CC. immediately. therefore after 12 months you can repeat

This card (60k) + Qantas Money (75k) + ANZ Platinum or Black (65k+70k)

      • Anz Platinum easier to get approval than Black.

    • You can rotate between the ANZ QFF and ANZ Rewards cards, but not just between the different cards in each category.

  • Damn, why no extra QFF bonus points for the black version???

I miss the black color on my old ANZ Black card :(

    • just put black stickers, mate. or pikachu stickers can do as well.

      • Pikachu is yellow

The Qantas Premier Platinum is a better deal…75 g points and lounge passes

    • Why not both?

  • Minimum income?
    Points earn rate?

  • I've got school fees to pay, $8k, is this the best card bang for buck?

Happy with banking the ff points for a later date.

Probably spend about $1k per month on my card so would estimate yearly spend at $10k per year to be conservative.

    Thanks!

    • If you can only get one credit card then this is prob not your best bet.

      • I've also got citibank platinum. Used to get good points but now not so good. Income would support 2 cards though, would love 2 recommendations. Can potentially spend more per month too.
