When would it be the best time to buy either of the 65" models 8500 or 9000? Videopro have both at 20% off but the prices have been jacked ($3182 versus Harvey Norman $3095 for the 9000). Not sure on which model yet either as I haven't seen strong arguments for either.
Which time would be best? I know the prices drop in march when the new models are announced/released, then there's eofy and later after that black Friday.

It would have to be soon as new models are released March/April and there would be no discounting on new models for awhile.
As above boxing day or just prior to Christmas sees the biggest discounts.

The 65" 9000e has been on sale for under $2400 previously.
I don't see the 65" 9000e on sale on the Videopro ebay store? Only the 55" is listed.Bottom line, don't pay 3k for a TV which is being replaced in a couple of months.
