Cans are usually at a premium, but this works out at $43.20 per case of 24. Good for camping.
Link to Lazy Yak (not as flavoursome)

I guess since there is no alcohol category, the closest alternative is Health & Beauty?

If you are nowhere near a First Choice like me, the best option if you like the beer but want it delivered with today's freebie is the Lazy Yak bottles At $47:

Probably worth a Dan's price beat too…

What a silly name. Do I need a hipster beard to drink this?

Are you talking about the name of the beer? Or the name Risto?

You're wondering whether it is Risto or Fat Yak I am talking about? How is your beard?

    • What a silly statement. Do I need a substandard IQ to write that?

  • Hey guys.
This is the beer I "blame" for me switching from Lager to Ale in pubs and even at home. However not sure if it is just me, but the beer that comes in bottles does not always have the same quality of that which you find on tap. Actually even on tap sometimes it is not as great. I know there are many factors influencing the taste of beer though I am pretty sure that they sometimes stuff it up. It might be that they are trying to produce more than the capacity they have for and don't let the beer ferment properly…idk.
Another heads up I would give you is to check the best before date. As soon as it comes to under 2 months BBD it can taste a bit foul if you didn't keep it in the refrigerator.
Overall I would still rate it 5/5 if you get a good batch.

    • Try Wild Yak. Best of the Yaks in my opinion.

Don't drink it from the bottle either. Get a good glass so the aromas can hit your olfactory senses and combine with the taste to create what it's meant to truly be. Trust me, you won't go back to bottle drinking.

  • I find bottle beer has better quality than tap, possibly due to quality control and not being dependent on the work experience kid / backpacker behind the bar adjusting the CO2 or how they pour it.

Fresheness …. well you hope bottle beer is fresh unless it's heavily discounted, so yeah check dates.

Same with coke … always better from the bottle or can than premix.

Cans so they are 375ml instead of those play lunch 330ml bottles ?
