  They look very similar to another pair of adidas tennis shoes I have that I use for the gym/running/sports. They're super supportive and comfortable. They would have a bit more weight than those lighter running shoes that are everywhere though. Probably better for you if you have any knee/leg/back/impact concerns. (IMO)

  I have the 2016's (similar design) and they are very stable and supportive, but as a result are quite heavy and a bit chunky/stiff in comparison to most running shoes and other tennis shoes like Asics.

  Barricades are especially heavy for tennis shoes, wouldn't use them for just running.

They look like tennis shoes. Based on the sole/tread. Tennis shoes are flat unlike runners - since tennis is mostly running laterally. And it has a herringbone tread which is typically for tennis.
