Mod: Added location to title
mod
- Changed title to reflect it's $99 for the entire period as the number of days is fixed
- added approximate reported start and finish dates to the title
- added link to the company in the body of the entry
- OP already mentioned that it's for entry to a selected car park and not all the company's car parks, but I've emphasised that

Member Tightarse reports that to find out which car park(s) they will offer you, you have to
- ring up
- supply the location where you work
- give your credit card details

does this only apply in Melbourne?

    • +2

If so, mention Melbourne in the title.

  • +3

Please specify which state in the title. Was hoping for Sydney =[

    is $99/M

    • +1

yeah, I think that's important, it's not just a once off/single day thing.

    • Well it's for the specified period, not every month. Probably they have free spaces due to people taking holidays, etc.

Title is misleading, should adjust to $99 for parking between 18/12 to 23/1 only. As such, definitely not a bargain.

And also it's only available at selected Secure parking car parks, but it doesn't mention where.
No website link or any document for T&C.

      • Actually it does have T&C on it… It does have a website (www.secureparking.com.au) and you will find the locations at that website, and there is a phone number.

And yes it is a bargain. Parking is expensive in Melbourne CBD.

        Please actually read before posting.

we can't pay $3 for one day parking, can we? so the title is wrong, should be $99 for 33 days.

    • +1

Yeah.. it's a bit poor since from a rep. Need to do better mate.. We are bargain hunter, not ad forum. ;-)
      Put 99 on title!!

I will gladly remove the -ve vote once the OP provides full T&Cs, as well as the list of locations.

There is a phone number you can call 1300 727 483. Or you can confirm with the HO on 02 8912 4900 if you're paranoid.

There is no need for your neg. Buyer beware, do your research.

Do you need to be spoon fed and dressed as well?

Not wasting my time with you yellowfly, but I've just found out it only applies to a few parking locations in the CBD, so there's no use posting a link showing all their locations just to impress.

        • Would you care to tell the rest of us which carparks?

        • +1

If I knew, I would. Called the 1300 number, and she told me it applied to 'only a few' carparks, but she wouldn't elaborate until I told her where I worked, and provided credit card details. I said thanks, but no thanks.

Voucher says $99, not $3… Please correct title…

    • Voucher says $99 per season / $3 per days ~ please correct comment

      • +1

That doesn't fix the title being incorrect…

  • Looks like it was on last year too: http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/19957
Good value for those who go to the city regularly.

    • +1

Look like the title last year was a lot more honest…

      • I like the suggestion there of using it as cheap long term parking for the airport by taking a shuttle. :)

        • even cheaper if you leave your car at home and catch a taxi…

        • I suppose it might work for a family coming in from country VIC and taking an international holiday.

Mind you, if it were in Sydney, it'd be worth it if going to the city a few times for the festival. Getting slugged $20 or more for parking isn't unusual.

        • The train goes everywhere now, does it? ;)

        • Only cheaper by taxi if you live within 20km of the airport (~20km trip = ~$50). Of course the price of the parking doesn't have to be recouped in one airport trip ;-) Earlybird CBD parking costs $10 - $16 avg/day.

  • Thanks to the mod for fixing up what should have been the rep's job to get right at the beginning.

Still not good that there's so much secrecy about the available car parks. Maybe they are the same as last year?
