* For Australian passport holders visiting Canada, an ETA is required and can be sorted out online. The maximum stay allowed is 6 months.
* Over 30% of Toronto residents speak a language other than English and French. Dual language street signs can be found in Little Italy, Little Portugal and Chinatown.

Good price, but dangerous to say you don't need a visa. Australians do need an electronic travel authority (eTA) which you need to apply for before you leave. Usually comes through within minutes but you will be turned away at the gate if you don't have one. Only $7 though, so not really a big deal.

    • Yes my girlfriend learnt this the hard way when travelling to Canada mid last year. Luckily there was a flight center at the airport who sorted it out for her.

    • I've been to Canada about 6 times, but not since 2015. Read your comment and was so confused, but had a Google and found this:

      Since March 2016. here

So I'm very glad I read this. Thanks!

    • Thanks for pointing that out!

Good deal. Would like to go during April/May to watch the Raptors in the Playoffs!

    • Good chance they'll make it!!

      • +2

They will definitely make it haha

    • Ah a fellow raptors fan! Derozan is playing brilliantly this season, but question marks over the big men - Ibaka and JV. So not very confident come post season, especially now with the pistons picking up Griffin. Agree we will definitely make it!

      • Raptors will definitely make it. Derozan and Lowry really need to step up in the playoffs this season. In previous seasons, they've balled in the regular season but have been MIA in the playoffs. They do have a deeper bench this season though though (who are young and promising to boot).

      • I'd consider myself more of a DeRozan fan than a Raptors fan; but I do LOVE the Toronto crowd. They are one of the best in terms of playing at home; along with GSW and OKC, which is why I would love to watch them play live.

  • :( I wish I had more leave, this is a fantastic price.

  • Is Toronto a nice place to visit?

Reminds me a lot about Australia. Very multicultural and people are very friendly.

      • My friend says Toronto is just a "watered-down" version of NYC.

        • Definitely would say a cleaner version of NYC. Toronto Hockey, baseball, and basketball teams are arguably better than NY teams for the past few years.

  • Any deals in the first two weeks of April departing from Brisbane? Thanks

  • Could anyone who grabs this offer please bring me some Promite as our stocks are low. I can get Vegemite easily enough but I never cared for it, we're a Promite family all the way. PM me if you'd like to be a PM (Promite Mule).

  • It's a good deal overall, but the HKG > YYZ 15 hrs part sucks.

    • +2

It's a polar flight, which is kinda cool. Any flight from SYD/MEL to YYZ is going to have a 15hr+ leg somewhere (LAX, SFO, YVR, IAD), unless you want to make more than one connection.

SYD -> HNL on Jetstar and then HNL -> EWR -> YYZ on United is my favourite cheap way to get there and back.

      • Nope, last year I actually flew Korean Air and flew SYD-ICN(10 hours) and then flew ICN-YYZ, which was 13 hours.

The difference though is I paid $1300 for my ticket (with my return being from JFK and not YYZ) and not $1100 like this deal.

  • Amazing price! I paid almost this much one way from Toronto - Sydney last year
