I would love to hear your review on this enclosure. I needed one for clonning my hdd to ssd. I found this to be cheapest for local stock therefore bought one.
To be honest I don't one this one, but I should work fine just make sure your hdd is lower capacity than the SSD or that the OS partition is smaller than the SSD you are cloning it to
i use the exact same one and i can totally agree with you. this one is 101% cancer… just get a better brand.
also im not calling the enclosures cancer im refering to when im searching on ebay/ amazon for a cheap hdd or ssd you end up in a pit of enclosures
I have a similar one. Easy to set up but my PC Wont recognise SSD in the case. Not sure why
Have you checked to ensure it is formatted correctly for the OS you are using?
If it is and still not working then it's probably a problem with this device then.
People who are wondering about its quality, I am using this exact model for the last 2 years and they are great. I have always bought them from their eBay store and currently have 2 of these (both have 500GB 2.5" HDD inside).

What kind of cable does this use? Is it the wide double micro usb b? I find the cases vary on whether or not that's a good cable. Does it disconnect everytime you move it or is it fine with small movements?
Will check next time I go to the office.
