I think you could have put a bit more effort into the code.

I would have gone for ARSESAVERS or SPECARSE.

      BLURRYARSE

  • +1

    ArseEyes perhaps

    • +2

      For your arse only.

  • I have attempted a purchase but have had no opportunity to enter Coupon Code. I cancelled on the last screen where you are suppose to enter Credit Card details.
Which screen can I put the promo code in?!

    • +5

View your shopping basket. On the right, where it says "You Pay", the promo code is just under that heading

      • Thank you!!! Got it.

    • Oh the irony, that you may need a check up of your eyes if you can't find where to enter promo code😄

Is this purchase entitled for medical insurance claims?

    • +2

IN the past I have claimed on my PHI, so yes

    • +1

Yes for PHI.. I've done it for years

    • +1

Absolutely, however Health fund will give back actual amount paid. Not total before discount.

  • -7

Meh. Bring back $50 off $99.

    • Amazon.

    • +2

Orpheus has gone be all cranky pants lately.

    • +1

Can't you just be happy that a user has negotiated a deal for once? Sure it's not as good as $50 off $99, but it's better than nothing and better than the current offer.

    • +27

You're kidding right? I really need to keep repeating the same thing over? If there was anything to disclose, I would. I'm actually pissed off when people question my integrity. Whenever kickbacks are/were muted in return for a post, I'd refuse to post and show the mods the PM/email.

      • -4

        Apologies and thank you.

So not worth me negotiating code TB51 for competition then

      • Ignore the ungrateful comment TA.

    • TA has arguably the highest integrity out of any member on this site - be it going out of his way to source discounts (as well as using funny discount codes), and helping people with Cashrewards enquiries.
Can you claim to have done even 10% of what he's done?
      That's right, I didn't think so too.

    • tightbottom vs tightarse

      Loosen up.
      Chill.

Thanks for the code. I Miss the $50 off $99 deal though…
My contact lens used to be ($26x4-$50)/4=$13.5 per box.
Last year they increased the price to $29, but added the 3-box pack for $79. So with the normal $50 off $150 deal I could do $79x2-$50=$18 per box.
With this deal I tried to make combination of the 90 lens and 30 lens ones to make it as close to $119 as possible. Had to get 5 boxes for $137, that's $17.4 per box… They are getting smarter :/

    • +1

      I agree! Very smart specsavers..

    • Maybe they finally saw what people were doing.

  • Just in time for payday

  • Thanks for that, TA!
Time to use the Optical extras from PHI

Checked Specsavers discounted price for Air Optix Aqua against Quicklens. Quicklens is cheaper. Use Quicklens price to price match on Clearly. Cheaper again .. and you can claim on Australian health funds .. :-) .. !! Clearly is OzB's friend .. clearly .. :-) .. !! PS .. I have no connection with Clearly beyond being a long time customer. Clearly's Price Match policy (from their web site)

'Our Price Match Guarantee means that we will match the price of any authorized online retailer. This total price includes the final amount, at checkout, for the same number of boxes, containing the same number of lenses, along with any applicable shipping, handling, and additional fees charged by the competitor. Any sales offered by the competitor must be active at the time of the price match, and our representatives must be able to replicate the final price themselves. Cached and third party links, mail-in rebates, limited time offers of less than 48 hours, “limited box quantity” offers, and promotions that have ended are not valid. The price match cannot be combined with any offer on our site. We will match up to a maximum discount of $300 per order.'

    • +2

      Agree

Clearly is much cheaper ( even after discounts on specsavers etc ) and bloke is very nice to get right product

    • Have you bought glasses from Clearly? They're cheap but I'm worried about quality/weight. I got two pairs from Zenni and they're good for the price, but too heavy.

      • Clearly is owned by Essilor, which owns OPSM (in the interests of transparency)

      • +1

My wife bought some Guess glasses from Clearly when they were practically giving them away about five years ago (from memory all she paid was the freight). She's still wearing them .. :-) .. !!

    • Yeah I agree.. I posted this deal highlighting clearly's price beat guarantee https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/336245 it's good because if you find an even better deal up 30 days after you've placed your order, you can still price match that and they refund the difference.

  • Hey @tightarse, is there any plans for them to put Dailies Total 1 up on their website? They have them in their retail stores, but not here (and are hence ineligible for the offer)

    • +1

You should ask Specsavers. I don't think he would know.

  • +1

I would've thought that if TightArse combines with Specsavers for a deal you might end up with shitty vision!

  • Thanks OP, purchased enough Oasys to last till 2020.

  • Did anyone experience Payment Server error at CC payment?

  • I've been waiting for a while for a specsaver deal. Thanks TA

  • Good deal for Acuvue Oasys. 4 packs works out to $18.50/pack.

  • Thank you!!

  • Thank you!
