Since this a google device, do they handle warranty when bought overseas?
no. Google only handle purchases from the Google store.
Actually, Google replaced my OG pixel that I bought from jbhifi when I smashed the screen (at no charge). Courier collected and delivered from and to my office
But I don't think they cover international models.
@OnlinePred: maybe not, but I wouldn't be surprised if they did.
2 years old phone and they still want top $$$?
Dream on.
The Iphone 6s which was released in September 2015 is still going for $699 from Apple
According to google this phone comes with unlimited storage in Photos at full resolution for pictures and videos, whereas the new model 2017 only allows it until 2020.
And each year you can pay $25 to get 100gb storage on any phone indefinitely.
When you're uploading full quality pictures and 4K video, 100GB runs out VERY fast.
@Trishool: depends ho much. I have taken over 1k photos on my note 8 without much of an impact on my drive storage. Been using it for years now and not even past 20%. (had pick xl for 1 year of which so that wasn't counted)
@OnlinePred: Do you have kids? I do, and upgraded to the 100gb storage 2 years ago and have hit my limit, that too with just uploads of FHD videos and pictures at full quality. If I had been uploading 4k videos instead, my storage would not have lasted a year.
@Trishool: Do you print and look at every picture and video you have taken?
@OnlinePred: No. What's your point?
@Trishool: Just that, we backup every single blurry and crap photo and mostly never look at them. Just a little management of this and then you will be better off later not having to go through millions of photos to find a few good ones
@OnlinePred: I actually only back up my good photos and am quite brutal when it comes to deleting blurry ones, however when pics are 4-5MB each, and videos are around 80-100MB per minute (FHD), then the 100GB storage fills up damn fast.
@Trishool: even with 10,000 photos and 625 videos, I think that's a lot of storag for $2.50 a month given you can get even more for not much more $$$. Transferable to any phone and can be used by your whole family.
A lot lower than it was and it’s closer to one year and a few months.
With the amount of hardware issues on og pixel, I would only buy local.
Should be the price tag for 2 XL #bestmobilescreenin2017
