I was wondering if u king Cree torch is any good?
I'd go for the Nitecore for j> $5 that keep popping up on Ozb. They are just about perfect for a small torch.
I dont throw my keys around but Ive had a couple of those little nitecores die after a month or 2. The light goes on when charging, but wont turn on.
The chances of this light having an actual Cree Led would be slim to nil. If you are really lucky it will be a reasonably good clone like latticebright. All you can really hope for at this price is that it is reliable and the colour isn't too green / purple.
One of the reviewers mentioned that that the torch doesn't have the U'King logo as depicted in the photos.

I would have thought this would be a better buy - sure it is a whopping $3.62 but it has a AA battery which has at least 2x the energy of a AAA so longer runtime. Plus it has 3 modes.
It's also fatter so not really pen sized.
I agree but find the one with Sipik SK68 written on the side. I find the switches on the unlabeled ones die pretty quick. The Sipik branded ones have last me years.
