  • dimension exceeds checked in baggage allowance?

    • I believe it does exceed maximum for linear L + W + H. The large one is nearly 160cm. Max is 148cm on most carriers

Some airlines do it by weight only now. I’ve taken one bigger than this on Jetstar before and thought nothing of it. Luckily I was ok and it got through. Not sure if Jetstar does it by weight now.

    • Interesting, you are correct. I just checked Qantas' website and for going to North & South America the maximum dimensions for a single bag is 158 cm (length + width + height) so technically you cannot take this there (but unlikely they would check as I have taken an oversized bag in the past) but it is fine to take to other parts of the world.

  • Has anyone purchased from luggagehub before?
    Are they legit?

    • +1

I've purchased in person at their location in Chadstone, VIC and they are legit. Though I can't speak for their shipping/online ordering, they have a full retail showroom and helpful staff - had no issues with returns when I had to make one either.

      • Thanks Soothsayer, the fact that they have a physical store has sealed this for me :)

Have been looking for an amazing deal for the big holiday and with such a huge group of us going I didn't want to spend too much but still have good quality suitcases and we happen to find this great deal with Luggage hub with the juno our friend has one already and was happy with the quality of the bag and to find it at such an amazing price and what was even better is that it was free shipping.

Got a teal one last week :)

I have an antler suitcase but find it marks very easily after each flight. A white suitcase would be a black one after a few flights…

      • +1

exactly, almost bought this but figured the color won't last long

        • does it really matter? marks can be removed. they are not scratches.

    • Give us the Black or Red one at this price and we have a deal op!

edit: looks like this is on clearance as there's a series 2 of the same as well

    • Picked up a large and a medium one on the weekend in-store. Wife was happy with the price/quality as we've always had cheapo luggage.

    • This is a duplicate. I posted this deal last week here: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/356087
