If you missed this deal like I did, there is another promo on right now. Not quite as low but with cash rewards could get it under $40. Still a good deal for these quality mid/low end wireless headphones.

    Go easy. It's my first.

    • Is there a way to get them to ship to Australia?

  • +1

I bought a pair of these for my wife. They are quite good for the price. The noise canceling is so-so, but they are good otherwise.

    • Any mic? Might use these for voice communication.

Noise cancelling is pretty awful in my opinion, ended up giving them to a relative - don't buy them if noise cancelling is a requirement.

      • Agreed, I was probably being generous. They're better than the cheapest of cheap Sony active noise canceling headphones I got a few years ago, but they're nothing on my plantronics backbeat 2's, and those are not as good (for ANC) as QC35's.

  • Good price but I waited nearly 7 weeks for the F2's from this seller so be prepared for along weight with standard shipping

    • Usable mic?

      • +1

There is a mic and it does work but I've never used it in practice because it kills the sound quality on the headphones.

I'm guessing the bandwidth limitation of bluetooth is causing the issue.

        • Alright cheers thanks. Yeah always wondered this my sound quality goes way down when I try to voice communicate and listen to background music or game sounds.

2018 now should hopefully be a non issue in the near future.

        • Using the mic probably turns the headphones from headphone mode to headset mode; one is for music, the other is for talking.

        • @macrocephalic: That's exactly what it does.

  • Are these over ear or on ear? A few websites have over-ear but the bluedio ebay and some others have on ear.

    • +2

      Over - unless you're a cocker spaniel.

    • depend on your ear size. it is on ear for me but over ear for my mate

Don't worry - bluedio cleared it up

  • What cheapish headphones do you recommend for a smart tv? How do you connect? Wifi or Bluetooth to a smart tv?

  • Are any of these bluetooth headphones a good size for younger kids. Not that fussed about sound quality but just want something that works well on a plane trip Bluetooth = one less cord to worry about on a long flight but would like good battery life and good connection to iPad while not being to cumbersome for younger kids. Just a couple of demands I know :)

  • Battery life is great but long fights…. these things are heavy.

  • I got these last time they were on special. The noise cancelling seems pretty rubbish, only seems to slightly dampen monotonous noises like airconditioners.

My main gripe though is the noticeable audio lag. Makes them pretty horrible for gaming.

    • I got mine during the 11/11 Sale but I don't get any audio lag with mine at all. I use it to watch Netflix on my TV and gaming too via PC, completely audio lag free (watching TV wirelessly was my original aim buying this one) could it be the Bluetooth dongle ur using causing the lag?

    • This is the T4S and NOT the T4. The audio lag issue of the T4 was fixed in the T4S.

      • Hmm, now you've got me considering picking up the T4S

        • You can get the T4S to lag as well but it's largely avoidable (I can force my one to lag and unlag at will) and I presume it's a limitation of BT 4.0 that is probably mitigated\handled by branded $100+ headphones better.

The T4S is decent, even the noise cancelling does a pretty good job it has niggly bugs that is more than bearable. Having said that if you intend to use noise cancelling headphones often and enough disposable income that you can afford something like the Bose QC35 then I would say get the QC35 (or something along that price range).

tl;dr - T4S works fine, it has bugs if you can't afford or don't want to spend $$ on a QC35 but want noise cancelling then get the T4S. The QC35 and the like work better, sound better and is worth the extra money if you care.

    • You must have bought the older T4 model. This was an issue which was fixed in the T4S. They look almost identical.

  • Looks like they don't ship to Australia? choosing any colour eliminates Australia from shipping options?

    • Not quite. Australia just means that that it will ship FROM Australia - as in they have stock in Australia.

You can order from the China warehouse. It'll just takes longer.

Fwiw, I did make a purchase for two black units from the China warehouse as just like for you the Australia option greys out. The actually posted it from Australia anyway and I got them with a few days. No guarantees that the same will happen for you.

  • Anyway offer is over now. I dare say they'll do something in à week or so for Chinese NY
