Just bought a new car and wanting recommendations for dash cams. I have little knowledge about these. Thinking of something that records front and back.
I’ve had hit and run experiences at car parks to the back of my European car, so it was costly to get that fixed.
Also, do all insurance companies accept these as evidence if I catch someone hitting my car at a car park or something?

Jokes aside, the Viofo models seem to be well regarded and often have deals on this site. In fact I've recently set myself an alert, holding out for the next deal.

What ever you go with make sure it is SUV specific. One for a hatchback or sedan will record too close to the ground.
