What’s the cheapest way for replacement heads for these? Anyone use the non-genuine ones?
It depends on what you want in a head, the wife prefers the smaller ones which cost a bit more. Usually costs $30 for 3 heads and my personal favourite is the Philips Intercare heads, they recommend you replace every 3 months.
Is this any good? I got the basic oral b bought at Coles on special. Is it worth upgrading?
The selling point for Sonicare is the 31,000 movements per minute which is featured with most high end models including HealthyWhite.
The Oral-B range is much lower with the Vitality & PRO 500 being 7600 rotations and the PRO 1000 being 8800 rotations.
So yes, it would be a significant upgrade. The Healthywhite usually sells for about $150.
Thank you very much
It should be an upgrade, but I won't say it's "significant". Rotations cannot be compared to pulsations.
And depends on which cheap Oral-B you have. Oral-B PRO 500 does have 3D action which provide 7600 rotations + 20000 pulsations per minute, and Oral-B Vitality do not have pulsations.
