It showed $43 for me too until I set it to mine (Glen Waverley).
Then the price changed to $40

I love 500ml cans but they can get expensive to buy.330-375 cans are pathetic and I don't like buying them.

No diff between this and Tooheys Extra Dry, I'd rather support 'Local' beers than Int beers brewed/made here.

Most Japanese branded beer is great but unfortunately the ones brewed anywhere outside of Japan isn't the greatest, for the price I'm sure you couldn't find better?

These are the new 350ml cans, not their 500ml ones. I made the mistake of posting a deal last week assuming these were 500 and got the mods to remove it.
Aldi sales are better for the 500ml or when they go on sale elsewhere.
@jno: All good mate. Dan seemed to have released the new 350 ml cans recently and it's catching a few people off guard!
offer expires end of January. Also for the 330ml bottles.
note the cans are indeed 350ml but the shelf label special states 330ml.Needed some beer tonight for a Sri Lankan curry, these worked a treat.
I actually think they are great. I'm always hesitant when brewed locally but after seeing a bunch of Japanese people buying cases of them a month ago I decided to grab one and wasn't disappointed. Great for $40

They definitely didn't. This tastes much worse than the real thing.

It's a sweeter lager compared to most other beers. I very much like the after taste.
Now to find a competitor that stocks the real shizzle (Jap) and get them to price match or beat.
$8 Fifth Leg SSB and $12 St Hallett Faith Shiraz today only as well.. much better bargains esp. the St Hallett
I like the Grant Burge sparkling at $16 too.

Great northern tastes like Carlton cold, almost identical.
