Arguably the best game from Telltale Games is now free but only until 17 Jan. All 5 episodes - the full game. Own it forever, no DRM.

Here is how to claim (before 17 Jan):

1. Sign up to free Twitch Prime Trial (blue banner near top of page)
2. Download the Twitch desktop app / launcher (similar to Steam launcher)
3. Claim your free copy of Tales from the Borderlands (part of loot)
4. Move the game to somewhere outside c:\ Program Files (x86) \ Twitch \ Games Library
5. Uninstall the Twitch client / desktop app
6. Don’t forget to either cancel renewal or turn off renewal for Twitch Prime!

Twitch Prime is apparently also free if you have Amazon Prime Video.

You don’t need to know anything about the Borderlands games to enjoy this game. But you could prepare yourself by reading up a little on the main character, Handsome Jack. Although you should stop before the Tales journey is described in the wiki to avoid spoilers.

And don’t forget to crank up the volume when playing cause this game has a mean soundtrack!

    Because Twitch Prime is free with Prime Video, you probably need to turn off auto renew of Prime Video. That is the part that costs money. I believe that is done inside your Amazon account somewhere.

  As I sat watching the NBA last night with my NBA subscription, I pondered who the hell would pay for twitch prime just to watch someone play a game?

    Some people use Coles or Woolies prepaid visa/master cards for this purpose. Because it is Amazon, cancelling and changing card on file later will not be an issue.

  I can't get Twitch Prime to link with Amazon Prime. I am using Amazon US (amazon.com). Do I have to use Amazon AU (amazon.com.au)?
