Definitely this.
Even if they apply the same markup % as they do on the current model, the new one will be under $200 AUD. And it's a much better unit.

This may be a stupid question but why are these things so expensive? Aren't they essentially just a stick which holds your phone and maybe has a button to activate the camera?
its a 3-axis gyro, meaning when you tilt / run / walk / bounce it stabilises your phone so the footage looks level all the time.
beware. the likes of DJI and xiaomi etc are driving china's worldwide surveilance, hence the low prices. All your data is sent back to the motherland
Paid $360 for mine from DWI March 2017. So this price drop is most likely a result of the newer model - as per above comments.

A new version with a lower base price has recently been announced at CES. Might be worth a read before making the decision.
Key differences that I took from the announcement:
- longer battery life, rechargable but not user replacable
- lower base price US$129
- different material, but lighter
- has 'true' portrait mode
- not yet available
