This deal is back slightly cheaper than last time. I received mine today from the last deal and am impressed with the quality and light output from such a small torch.

Have copied most of the text from the last deal, get in quick as it is limited stock and sold out fast last time it was posted.

These lights are great as keychain lights and works well when paired with eneloop pro's or >IKEA Ladda AAA's. Also this one has the Nichia 219B emitter with over 90 CRI for >outstanding color representation. Way better than those nasty cool white emitters on cheap >lights. These lights never came below $19 USD with coupons and no other AAA copper >flashlights available for this cheap due to high production cost and machining.

  • Copper or no? I think not

Yup, copper. I grabbed one last time, surprisingly well made, has some heft for its size.

Yeah mine from the last deal arrived safe and sound too. Pretty cool little torch, super solid, good light output, feels really nice in the hand.

Only one thing Im not a huge fan of - "Switch Type: Rotation". Rotation switches not great, esp when torch has multiple modes. A button wld be better.

Still getting another one tho :)

    Thanks OP !

    • For the small form factor ie single AAA. I actually prefer the twist over a switch. It makes the torch much shorter, therefore more pocketable. Less chance of failure, as there isnt a switch mechanism, no parasitic drain, more robust and less chance of water ingress. It takes a while to get use to the twisting action, but i use it with one hand to turn on and change modes quite easily.

if you're not a fan of copper, other colours only $10.43 …same brightness

  • Lumens: 102LM

In real world how does this compare to the everyday $2 cree torches we all have?

I’m assume it may be a little brighter?

      And out of stock

The $2 cree torches lumens generally do not match what they claim to be, but some would be pushing around 100 lumens (unlike claims of 300 lumens+ on regular AA/AAA batteries). What stands out in this torch is the use of the Nichia 219B which has a high CRI. The tint is warm, compared to most $2 cree lights which are mainly cool white tints. Using the torch outdoors at night, you will be able to distinguish colour better, ie branches from leaves etc, which tend to be washed out with low CRI torches, which the $2 cree tend to be.
