  • What's the go with the plug for the strip light with this seller? Do they provide an adapter for Australia if needed?
Not familiar with the product and haven't brought from this seller before.
    Thanks in advance.

Mine has the two pronged | | style plug

      • Thanks mate. Is there a recommended adapter that Ozbargainers use?
        Cheers.

        • Just buy a robust looking one from the supermarkets. Mine is just a cheap Sansui Sansai one.

        • @scrimshaw: Sansai or Sansui?

normally use plier to twist it to / \ .
          make your own judgement call.

@eatwell365: can confirm this is the Australian way. Compliant with Australian Standard AS/NZS 3000:2007.

  • Good price. Last time I bought from Gearbest for $26.20. Still haven't yet found the time to try to cut into multiple strips. I probably will make a Knowledge Base forum post on it once I do.

What is the length and how many rgb on one of these?

  • Getting : "Coupon does not meet the conditions to use" when using with the Xiaomi Yeelight RGBW E27 Bulb

    • Only Xiaomi Yeelight Smart RGB LED Light Strip App Control can meet that coupon:DD4Yeelight.thx

      • Op any chance to get some code for the RGB bulb? Would be awesome. Keep on missing this deal. Thanks.

        • hi,marbel,

We'd like to,but it is hard. as u know, this item is the lowest price right now.

          thx for your understanding.

  • This lightstrip is compatible with Google Home via IFTTT.

I was able to connect the light strip directly to google home without IFTTT. works great

  • Can't extend these strips right?
I've heard version two might but not sure if release date.
    Thanks Josh

    • I just did some Googling as I was interested myself in seeing if you can join two or more together… from what I've seen from Yeelight reps on the Internet, at this stage they can't be extended. They said they are working on an 'extension', but don't have any release date at this stage.

  • its still a bit expensive for me. only 2 meters.

is there any opensource LED strip i can use with my google voice or ifttt?

Added 2 lights of 3 varieties - the strip and 2 each of the bulbs - to my cart. Checked out fine but cannot get the site to take my money. Clicking the 'pay now' option does nothing and I have the items in my account 'pending payment'. Tried paypal and credit card, neither option produced any response from the site. All the other buttons on the site work. Any help would be appreciated.

Edit - tried again and went through again (minus the 'discount') which worked out to be under $2 anyway. Same problem. Ended up cancelling in my account afterwards.

Edit again - I have a 26% off coupon in my account which expires on Jan 05, 2018. Cannot get this coupon to redeem either even though it still shows as unused and valid. I remember now I had this coupon from a previous attempt to buy something from this store when the site also failed in taking my money.

I have no problems buying from other Chinese sites like 'Light in the Box' or 'Gearbest'.

    • Same experience, tried to buy and couldn't get them to take my money.

    • Adblocker was my problem - disable and suddenly pay now button works. Does not make me feel comfortable.

      • Thanks for letting us know what the issue was. I agree it sounds a bit dodgy.

  • Purchased LED strip using PayPal without issue.

  • any suggestion how you use this thing on? thanks.

  • My order from the last deal due to arrive soon, OP?

  • thanks got one.
