Cheapest you can buy Quantum Break (I think), however this is only the PC version so its not Xbox Plays Anywhere that one cost about $25. Not sure how well this game is on the Microsoft store but its 75% off so its still cheaper than steam.

Currently at USD$9.99 on Steam, so around AUD$12.85. I'd probably pay the extra $1.40 just to have it in Steam, along with the rest of my unplayed games.

    • LOL true though most games i have I don't play on my steam account

okay game, boring characters including little finger. find average (in some case below average) actors in game really a turn off…

same goes for this year COD WW2 - silly characters, first COD that i didn't bother with the companion

I actually thought the game was pretty good. The story was original, and the gameplay mechanics were innovative (ability to manipulate time). Graphical effects were well done, if not slightly on the scripted side.

For $11.48 is should be a no brainer from a purchase perspective.

      • ya, that's why i say it's okay game - story is predictable though (I prefer more carefully planned clever surprises). However, Like I said the main let-down is the characters (actors).

  • This is cross-buy which means a PC code also gives you access to the XBOX version on console making it an excellent deal.

IMO the Windows store version runs much smoother on the One X than on PC so definitely recommend playing it there if you have the option. I have a high-end gaming PC with a GTX 1080 TI and a Intel 6700K in addition to 16GB of DDR4 RAM and this game stutters non-stop whenever I attempt to run the game at 1080p or higher to the point that it is unplayable. The Steam version which uses Direct X 11 runs a lot better on PC apparently but I don't have the Steam version so I can't say personally. But if you're a PC owner and don't have an X than I would get the Steam version.

Luckily I also own the One X so I just play it on there for a smooth stutter free experience at a higher resolution too (though not 4K).

You're thinking of Xbox Play Anywhere and Quantum Break is not apart of that.

BUT, you can continue your save file on both platforms.

The windows store version is a steaming pile of shit according to owners of that version, avoid at all costs (Steam version on the other hand is said to run much, much better and does not need windows 10).

    • The Windows Store version is a UWP app (one of the first). The Stream version is not.
The only advantage with the UWP version, is that it runs on Xbox One too. It's also a new technology, which might explain it's poor quality.

For those that don't know like i didn't, this game needs an internet connection to stream the ingame movies between each chapter (which the player can affect)
The pc version has no option to download these locally, which kinda sucks ass.
