  • Hi Everyone,
Its my first time trying to purchase of the binglee ebay site.
I am trying to access this deal but I am having trouble.
the code doesn't seem to work.

    HELP!!!

    • Unfortunately the eBay code isn't working for anyone at the moment

    • Just Checked should be working now.

      • Awesome thanks

  • Hey guys, does this come with 1 yr local warranty?
How does this compare to Amaysim's 2 yr local waranty?

    Thanks in advance!

On the Bing Lee site it mentions a 2 year local warranty. I'd assume this would be the same for the ebay store as well?

I just bought the Note 8 from the Amaysim deal. Because I save like $160, and still get a similar 2yr warranty locally. Also I dont use Samsung Pay so that was the only let down for some people because Samsung pay doesn't work with import models.

I dont really know about the extent of the warranty differences but check out this link to Amaysim Warranty details:
      https://www.amaysim.com.au/dms/amaysim/documents/terms-condiโ€ฆ

      • How long is the delivery?

        • Not sure it says Jan 15th but all the positive feedback they received was related to their "fast delivery." Hoping it will get delivered before the 12th. No confirmation of shipping yet though.

        • @rosrav:

Sweet! I have 2 hrs to decide whether I should buy it or wait for a better deal :/

        • @koalafied:

I highly doubt it will reduce by any significant amount in the coming months. It may touch the $850 mark for imported stock on another 20% off eBay Sale. Again I highly doubt this will happen. I would say go for it if you really want it. Or if you have a good phone for now just wait it out.

        • @rosrav:

True. Using a OnePlus 5 128GB atm, not a huge upgrade other than the S-Pen, screen, waterproof-ness and Iris scanner. However the eye scanner is being added via software update soon. I might just wait it out :p

This is Bing Lee so it's Australian stock, hence Samsung Warranty (2 Years). With Samsung warranty, you can hop into any of the kiosks at the Westfield stores, or hop into their City Experience store for repair (I believe their city store does on the spot repairs, their kiosks sends them to the repair centres).

      • Thank you for the comments guys, tried ordering but something with eBay is wrong. Will try tomorrow.

        Thanks again.

  • Would JB hi fi price match this deal in store?I have no Bing Lee near me,and I'm not a great fan of online buying.thanks in advance for any shared knowledge

    • I tried to do this on boxing day at JB, Harvey Norman and Good guys. None of them were willing to match the price. Harvey Norman went the lowest at $1318. You can certainly try yourself, you might get lucky but they will probably only match the selling price and not the promotion price after eBay discount.

But this Bing Lee deal is pretty good, unless you are willing to wait until the note 8 drops below $1000 like the Black Friday deals. I dont think this will happen anytime soon though.

I just got mine from amaysim eBay because @ $916, it seems to be a good price for a Note 8 even though it is grey import. I was hesitant at first, but their reviews seem to be fairly positive. Also I dont use Samsung pay, so really no disadvantage for me.

      • Thanks for sharing. HN's Note 8 was $978 only one month ago, I was hoping the price can drop at this boxing day but apparently they are not willing to do so.

      • Thanks rosrav,I might have to trundle down to JB's and have a go๐Ÿ‘๐ŸŽ…๐Ÿ‘
