Haven't used the other current models. The only difference between the cinetic models is the accessories it comes with.
I think the big ball non cinetic has a filter.

I won’t be buying a Dyson ever again however.
Had three in a row die pretty much within 12 months of warranty expiry.
For what you pay I would expect longer life.
They are also not as “powerful” as they claim imho.
I have a dog and our “top of the line” Dyson barely picked up the dog hair by the end.
