Boxing Day Sales Mechanical Keyboard

Hi everyone. Been looking at staticICE for awhile now (3-4 months) and i haven't really found what I'm looking for so i decided to post here hoping someone could help.

I'm looking to buy a mechanical keyboard that is:

  • ~$100
  • Brown switches
  • Hand Rest (not a dealbreaker but would like to have)
  • Media keys
  • Back lit (doesnt have to be RGB)

Examples of what i've been looking at

  • corsair k68
  • corsair k70
  • AZIO MGK
  • azio armato
  • Logitech RGB G910
  • Logitech G710
  • logitech g610
  • corsair strafe
  • HyperX Alloy Elite

The biggest problem i have is that i hate paying retail price so I'm looking for a good deal. For example happy to pay up to $120 if the keyboard is actually worth $200 etc. However i wouldn't want to pay $120 for a $120 keyboard.

Has anyone come across a good deal?

Thank you in advance, much appreciated.

Bing Lee have the Logitech G910 for $135, that's the cheapest I've seen it for. https://www.binglee.com.au/logitech-920-008021-g910-orion-sp…

JW have the SteelSeries Apex M500 (MX Red) for $87 Boxing Day Sale price. https://www.jw.com.au/steel-series-apex-m500-mechanical-gami…

    • Thanks for the reply. I was hoping to get a keyboard less than $135 if possible and also the Steelseries doesn't have media keys. Will keep the logitech in mind though and buy it if there's really nothing else.

      Thanks.

      • I actually picked up the G910 for $108 by price matching Bing Lee at JB this morning. JB have 20% of logitech at the moment and they applied that on top of the price match. I don't think they normally do it that way though so ymmv.

        • Great deal however i think the G910 uses linear switches which isnt what im looking for. Thanks though.
