Good Quality Business Shoes on Sale?

Hey all,

Starting a new (real) job in Feb, I have most gear - suits, some shirts, some ties etc - but still don't have any shoes. Can anyone point me in the right direction of some shoes to purchase, hopefully on sale and at a decent price, that are of good quality? Wouldn't want to spend much more than 150-200 on each pair. One black, one brown… I guess.

    Boots are sort of a no-go, is my understanding. RM Williams are super nice though.

  we've stop buying quality shoes. we rather buy new pairs every year and claim them as an expense. the used ones are donated.

  I bought Florsheim shoes about this time last year due to recommendations on here at approx $100 a pair on sale, and have been very happy with them.

  Should be a boxing day or new years sale I reckon.
