      • What is duplex manual? Do I turn the page by hand?

        • Basically, yes.

I think its when it prints all odd numbers, you then put the paper back in the tray and it will print all even numbers. ie; if you print a 10 page document, it will print 1,3,5,7,9 you then put the paper back in and it will print 2,4,6,8,10.

    it's a bit rich to expect a FORTY-NINE DOLLAR printer to have a duplexer…

I think it is a reasonable thing for him to ask. Afterall, it is actually a $179 printer on special. If it is only worth what they are asking then it is not a bargain….

I'm not sure if I've ever seen one of these compact laser printers that do duplex. Not enough room :)

  • Was picking up some ink for my HP and the lady behind the counter said Samsung released firmware that was designed to stop generic ink cartridges from working, can't find anything on the interwebs …just my 2 cents worth

    • i had to open up my circuit board, short sum wires and bridge a couple of otheres. that fixed my ml 1640
